Panoramic House
2025

Panoramic House is the refurbishment and extension of the lower ground-floor apartment to create a split-level living space and increase the internal ceiling height. The ground-floor slab was lowered to achieve this, which required the successful submission of a Basement Impact Assessment for the London Borough of Camden during the planning approval stage.
Working closely with the architects, the structural interventions were designed sympathetically to the historic building fabric and to re-use existing structure from previous modifications, but to suit the contemporary architectural proposals.
Externally the new extension includes a slim roof canopy overhanging 3m sliding glazed doors to create a column-free corner, while the timber structure inside is integrated into the bespoke joinery and expressed in the finishes.
The project has featured in Wallpaper Magazine online.
